The Challenge

The PACE (Property Assessed Clean Energy) initiative is a locally enacted set of laws and processes to enable property owners to borrow money for approved energy efficiency upgrades from private lenders through a program managed by the municipal government.

While many cities are excited about starting PACE locally, the administrative and operational challenges are daunting. Ygrene was founded to enable cities to quickly launch PACE by providing a complete technical solution and funding all in one package.

Our Contribution

Development Leverage focused on the back office software which tracks improvement projects through the entire lifecycle from application, through approval and construction, and to repayment.

The solution includes workflow tracking, credit card charging, and real time interfaces to Experian and Fidelity.
